Hubert Butler was one of the main reasons that Antony Farrell decided to establish The Lilliput Press in 1984, after discovering that Butler’s work was out of print. In a detailed and intriguing documentary feature HUBERT BUTLER: WITNESS TO THE FUTURE, director Johnny Gogan traces the fascinating life and output of this prolific man. With contributions from Chris Agee, John Banville, Lara Marlowe and more, Witness to the Future is essential viewing for any Butler fan.  A message from our publisher, Antony Farrell. ‘The Lilliput Press was proud to herald the 90th birthday of its most distinguished living international Irish author, James Patrick ‘Mike’ Donleavy, on Saturday 23rd of April. We wish him longevity and congratulations. Family, friends and close associates gathered at his lakeside home, Levington Park, Mullingar, County Westmeath, to mark and celebrate the occasion In July 2015 Lilliput published the 60th anniversary edition of The Ginger Man with a forward by Johnny Depp and essays by other luminaries to considerable acclaim. In October 2015 J.P. Donleavy was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards committee. Later this year, 2016, his career will be crowned by the conferral of an honorary doctorate…
