This is an extraordinary book.
I don't think anyone has written this candidly about addiction in Dublin. The writing is shocking - it just wades right into the grimy mechanics of these addicts' lives without fear or hesitation. If you're trying to make sense of the chaotic lives you see people living on the streets of Dublin, then read this book.
I was devastated by it, but I found it extremely informative. Anyone living in Ireland today should read it.

This 'Holy book' is a masterpiece: raw, real and a very important work for anyone on the 'Spiritual Path', for anyone whose 'divine experiences' proved challenging or transitory, for anyone who yearns for a return to primal nature. Great collection of essays & stories. Video games have been fundamental to my own coming of age experience and how I relate to the world. So to find this book with so many voices that echo my own and provide new views and understanding too has been a delight. Highly recommend.

An excellent collection. Blach and white photography seems so much more dramatic than colour!

Interesting collection of interviews with well known Irish authors. I would highly recommend this book.

A page turner is an oft used phrase in literary circles and it is more times hyperbole than anything else, Dead as Doornails is the exception to that rule. I was in convulsed with laughter from the offset. Not only is it a page turner, it is hilarious.

Loved it, i bought it to read at our Members Summer Exhibition opening at West Cork Collective, a lovely thought provoking and intimate read. Well received.
