Dessie Doyle is a civil servant. His family has a long association with the ESB, growing up in Station Road, and with his late father Walter being employed by the company for forty years. He now lives in Cashelard, Ballyshannon. He has a BSc and a Masters in Irish Migration Studies. He previously published Hugh Allingham – Selected Works, with Brian Drummond, and this is their first original work.
