In a disused railway tunnel lives Pollyhester, dressmaker to the stars. Celebrities dream of Pollyhester’s designs, teased out of ancient recycled fabrics and her wonderous imagination. But when Fashion Dictators change the fashion, celebrity Iverna makes extraordinary demands on poor Pollyhester. She summons her loyal helpers, who include a fallen dancing angel, a lovesick Viking motorcycle courier and a host of sinister spiders, to save the day.
Beautifully illustrated, and simply told, this enchanting tale will captivate both young and old.
