A Collideorscape of Joyce is a collection of essays by scholars from around the world, commissioned to celebrate the seventieth birthday of Fritz Senn. The essays, representing the full range of Joyce criticism to date in 1998, offer proof of the inexhaustibility of the Joycean universe.

FRITZ SENN, born 1 January 1928, has been Director of the Zurich James Joyce Foundation since its inception in 1985. Co-founder of 'A Wake Newslitter', he has also been on the editorial board of all major Joyce journals, and, with Klaus Reichert, supervised and co-ordinated the 'Frankfurt Joce Edition'. He was awarded honorary doctorates by the Universities of Cologne and Zurich. He has taught Joyce to generations of students in Switzerland and was a visiting professor at various American and Italian Universities. As Trustee (and Chairman) of the International James Joyce Fundation, he instigated and co-organized several Joyce Symposia. His Publications include 'Nichts Gagen Joyce: Joyce versus Nothing' (1983), 'Joyce's Dislocations: Essays on Reading and Translation' (1984) and 'Inductive Scrutinies' (1995)
